Call Centers

The main source of my income is a call center called Liveops. Liveops is this work-from-home call center that sells things off of infomercials. It’s really cool, and it pays 25 cents a minute. I average about $30 bucks a day, just sitting, taking calls, and surfing the internet in between.

Of course, that’s not enough to meet my daily quota, so I need to do other things in between calls than randomly surf.  But it’s the main source of my income, and I’m really glad I work here.

The main thing to remember, when you’re working at a call center, is to keep your cool. You have to talk to a lot of people, every day, and some of them get angry at you. If you don’t think you can take that, you’re going to want to look for other opportunities.

The second thing is patience. You’re going to be sitting and waiting for calls for a very long time, and then talking to people who might not understand you.

The last thing is that you have to be a self-starter. You have to schedule yourself blocks every week, you have to remember when you work, and you have to find productive things to do during the breaks.

If you can do all these things, you’re well on your way to earning money for college at home.

Just like the rest of us, you’re trying to save money for college.  You might be wondering how to do it… do I take out student loans? Should I get a job flipping burgers? Can I sell boondoggle keychains door-to-door?

The good news is, you don’t need to be Deb. There are ways to make money for college AT HOME. With a little bit of writing skill, a phone line, and a computer, you can earn all the money you need sitting in your living room.

I started saving money for college at the beginning of August, and I’m already well on my way to making my goal. With luck, I’ll be able to go to school winter term, with NO need for any kind of loans or financial aid.

Let’s get started.
